An Instructor-Grade Outdoor Putting Green
We are proud to showcase this installation by our team in Southern California. Created for one of Santa Clarita's most respected golf instructors, Lee Breckenridge. Lee has a well-earned reputation in the area for developing junior golfers, helping high school students earn spots on their school teams and go on to secure college golf scholarships. This green was built to match the level of instruction he provides every day.
Project Details:
- 1,500 sq ft putting green
- 200 sq ft sand bunker
- 400 sq ft multi-height chipping turf surround
- Stimp speed of 11 with true roll and natural breaks
- Designed for serious instruction and player development
The green was engineered by the team to deliver authentic on-course conditions with a stimp speed of 11, reliable breaks and a ball roll that stays true from any line. For a teaching environment where students are building real competitive skills, that level of performance isn't a bonus, it's a requirement.
Surrounding the putting surface, 400 square feet of chipping turf at varying grass heights gives students a range of lies to work from, developing the touch and adaptability they'll need when they step onto an actual course. The 200 square foot sand bunker rounds out the facility, adding one of the most challenging and important short game scenarios any junior golfer needs to master before stepping onto a high school team or chasing a scholarship.
