New Mexico Junior College has a robust sports program ranging from rodeo to golf. They approached Southwest Greens of New Mexico to help them plan an indoor golf facility on their campus. This indoor golf facility was designed to accommodate the entire scope of the game while providing an incredible experience for the student athlete.

This project took two years of planning. We partnered with design extraordinaire Mike Riley, who has worked with PGA Tour stars Tom Kite, Fred Couples, and Curtis Strange, to make sure this indoor golf facility met the needs of the NMJC students.

  • 12,000 sq. ft. total

  • 5,000 sq. ft. putting surface

  • 4 hitting bays to the driving range

  • 78’x24’ tee lines outside the doors

  • 2 TrackMan swing analytic and course synthesizing systems

  • Lounge area

  • Fairway hitting pads throughout

  • NMJC logo on the surface

This 12,000 sq. ft. indoor golf facility is climate-controlled, so students can practice their game no matter the weather. It has everything needed for students to practice their short game inside and long drives outside. The indoor putting surface features sand bunkers and slopes for a better sense of realism.

Take a look.
